The Parish of Central Wolverhampton
Junior Church
St Peter's welcomes children and families at all our services, and on alternate Sundays we run our Junior Church. This is led by volunteers, all with enhanced DBS checks, and takes place at St Peter's House. There is a range of activities that the children do, based on bible readings for the day, including craft, cookery and singing. The children share their work with the congregation at the end of the service.
We are committed to creating a safe environment for children and young people. We follow the Church of England safeguarding procedures and our adult volunteers are carefully selected.
Here are some of the activities that we have done in Junior Church.
We made trifle to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee. We made Advent Wreaths. We thought about the how the church is made of lots of people
and they are all precious to God.
We made crowns to remember Christ as King, and remembered that
he was first called a King when he was born.
